Northwest Leander Outdoor Living Upgrades By Archadeck, The Outdoor Living Space Expert

They say that reputation is everything in business today. At Archadeck of Austin, we provide meticulous attention to detail and client care for all of the Leander outdoor living upgrades we are honored to implement in NW Leander, TX.

Leander Outdoor Living Upgrades

Among our renowned transformational Leander Outdoor Living Upgrades is this backyard reinvention which took a quaint rear concrete slab patio and reimagined it into an exquisitely curved patio, created with a TPC concrete overlay process that resembles the look of Flagstone.

Before.

Completely changing the look and feel of this Leander home’s rear exterior, we crafted this concrete patio extension off the existing patio that was already there and extended it via a radius design with a wood-burning fire pit.

After.

This opens up the patio tremendously and adds more room out into the greenspace landscape. As the new patio foundation stretches to the right of the home exterior, our patio expert team added a cedar pergola with a Topgal cover.

Why A Custom Pergola Crafted Out Of Cedar For This Leander Outdoor Living Upgrade?

Cedar is a great choice for an outdoor pergola for several reasons.

1. Durability: Cedar wood is naturally resistant to rot, decay, and insect damage. This makes it an excellent choice for outdoor use as it can withstand harsh weather conditions and last for many years.

2. Stability: Cedar wood is dimensionally stable, meaning it does not shrink or warp as much as other types of wood when exposed to Texas moisture and temperature changes. This helps to ensure that your pergola maintains its shape and structural integrity over time.

3. Appearance: Cedar wood has a beautiful, natural color and grain pattern that can add a rustic and elegant look to your outdoor space. It can also be stained or painted to match your preferred aesthetic here in Leander.

4. Sustainability: Cedar is a renewable resource that is grown and harvested responsibly in North America. Choosing cedar for your pergola is an eco-friendly choice and great for the environment. Anytime we can reduce our carbon footprint, that’s a win.

Why Topgal For The Patio Pergola Roof Cover – And What Exactly Is It?

Topgal is a polycarbonate multi-wall standing seam panel system for overhead patio roof cover that provides shade while enabling optimum light transmission and providing excellent thermal insulation.

Its standing-seam panel connections prevent water from collecting and penetrating into the new backyard patio space thanks to its high structural strength and the superior rigidity of the system.

Available in standard colors, as well as special color layers that selectively reflect solar radiation, Topgal’s rigid structure provides strength under wind and snow loads. In addition to its being waterproof, Topgal panels can have UV protection on both sides or on just the tooth side, based on a client’s preference. It is also covered by a  manufacturer’s 10-year warranty for color, light transmission, and strength.

We Didn’t Forget About Privacy, Either

Just as important as shade from the patio extension roof pergola cover is the privacy wall our team created – also from cedar. For a finishing touch, all of the cedar for this installation was stained using Sherwin Williams SuperDeck®.
